Upper Chichester – County Savings Bank recently donated forty (40) backpacks filled with school supplies to the Community Action Agency of Delaware County, Inc. (CAADC) to support their clients. CAADC is a primary provider of homeless services in Delaware County including two shelters for families and numerous transitional/rapid re-housing programs. County Savings Bank supplied the backpacks and asked their extremely generous customers to fill them with donated school supplies. They were able to fill forty (40) backpacks which were then donated to CAADC to be distributed to families in their homeless programs.
Edward T. Coleman, Chief Executive Officer for CAADC, stated, “We really appreciate the efforts of County Savings Bank and their caring customers. These backpacks will help to get children off to a good start to the school year.”
