Upper Chichester – Edward T. Coleman, Chief Executive Officer, announced that the Community Action Agency of Delaware County, Inc. (CAADC) recently received a grant of $10,000 from the Genuardi Family Foundation.  The grant will be used to support CAADC’s Homeless Prevention and Shelter Programs.  CAADC provides case management services to Delaware County residents facing homelessness, are homeless or are experiencing a crisis.  In addition, CAADC is a primary provider of emergency shelters in Delaware County including the Life Center of Eastern Delaware County, the Wesley House Shelter and the Family Management Center.    Mr. Coleman stated, “Serving the most vulnerable residents of Delaware County requires support from the community.  We truly appreciate the continued support of the Genuardi Family Foundation.  They are a really caring organization helping to assure that families have stable housing.”
