Rent and Utility Assistance Available for Delaware County Residents Impacted by the COVID-19 Pandemic

Community Action Agency of Delaware County, Inc. (CAADC) has received funding to address the impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic.  Funding has been received from the Office of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) through the CARES ACT as well as through other public and private sources.

Part of this funding can be used to assist residents whose income was DIRECTLY IMPACTED BY THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC and the subsequent Stay At Home Order issued by Governor Wolf on March 23, 2020 to make past due Rent and/or Utility payments.  Evidence must be provided that the Pandemic caused the loss of income.

Eligibility Requirements and Income Limits apply.  Please contact CAADC regarding income eligibility and all required documentation.

All applicants are required to schedule an appointment for an assessment and application interview.

There is limited funding and all eligible applicants will be processed on a first come, first served basis.  All payments will be made directly to the service providers or landlords.  No funding will be given directly to the applicants.  If residents received another form of assistance for the services requested they may not be eligible to receive this assistance.

As with all things during this unprecedented time, it will require some time to schedule and process eligible applicants.

Interest applicants should call Community Action Agency of Delaware County, Inc. at 610-874-8451 for additional information or to schedule an appointment.
