Edward T. Coleman, Chief Executive Officer, announced that the Community Action Agency of Delaware County, Inc. (CAADC) recently received a $1,676 donation from Fox & Roach Charities.  This donation will support CAADC’s Life Center of Eastern Delaware County.  The Life Center is a fifty (50)-bed emergency shelter facility serving homeless individuals in Delaware County.  The shelter is located at 6310 Market Street in Upper Darby.  In addition to providing over 150 persons with shelter during the year, the Life Center provides additional support services designed to move clients along the continuum of care to self-sufficiency and to provide them with basic needs including a nightly meal program.  Mr. Coleman stated, “We truly appreciate the continued support of Fox & Roach Charities.  This generous donation shows how much Fox & Roach cares about the communities in which it operates.”

The Community Action Agency of Delaware County, Inc. has been Delaware County’s designated anti-poverty agency since 1979.
