Community Action Agency of Delaware County, Inc. (CAADC) is operating free Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites for a thirteenth year. This year CAADC will be hosting four sites serving low- and moderate-income families in Delaware County. All the sites will be staffed by IRS trained and certified community volunteers and will aim to serve families who qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit and the Child Tax Credit. The free sites will be located at the Wesley House at 701 Madison Street in Chester, PA 19013; Sharon Hill Commons at 401 Sharon Avenue in Sharon Hill, PA 19079; the Boothwyn Office, 1414 Meetinghouse Road, Boothwyn, PA 19061; and at St. Alice Church, 150 Hampden Road, Upper Darby, PA 19082.
The sites will continue through April 15th. All sites are by appointment only with hours occurring Monday through Saturday (days will vary at each site). To schedule an appointment please call (610) 833-4455 and tell them you would like to make a tax appointment.
