Community Action Agency Running Free Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Sites

Upper Chichester, PA —– Community Action Agency of Delaware County, Inc. (CAADC) is once again operating free Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) sites now for its 20^th year.  CAADC will be serving low- and moderate-income families in Delaware County.  All services will be done by IRS trained and certified community volunteers and will aim to serve families who qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit and the Child Tax Credit.  Last year, CAADC helped over 1,100 households.  CAADC is providing assistance now until mid-April.  Assistance is being provided by appointment only!  Times and days vary by location.  To schedule services please first call (610) 833-4443.  Tax preparation sites are located in Boothwyn, Darby, and Chester.  If you are interested in volunteering please e-mail pmyers@caadc.org.
