A single male father and his three children moved into the Wesley House after losing his housing when he became unemployed.  In addition to not having a job, he also had no secure child care options and was dealing with the emotional loss of his wife.  Once his goals were set, he regularly met with his Case Manager.  During this time, his Case Manager was able to communicate ways to overcome his emotional barriers.  His Case Manager helped him enroll in an intensive outpatient program through Community Hospital to help him deal with his mental and emotional issues.  CAADC also helped him through the process of securing childcare for his youngest son.  He also enrolled in a Work Ready program to enhance his skills for employment.  With this hard work and commitment to his children, client was accepted into a Transitional Housing Program and moved out of the shelter.  He is on his way to self-sufficiency.
